Say Thank You to Our First Responder is a local student effort to raise awareness, support, celebrate, honor and most importantly Say Thank You to our local First Responders for the difficult job they do every day by putting their time and lives on the line to protect and help us. It's also a great way to promote student engagment, civics and citizenship in the community. Over the past few years we sponsored dozens of pies, and this year our goal is to raise enough for 44 pies.

Students are holding a Thanksgiving Pie Drive for local Fire Fighters, and Police. Our first responders sacrifice many things for the community and time away from their families during the holidays; We thought about taking them baked goods like pies to show them our support and appreciation for all they do for us. This will let them know that we are thinking about their service especially during the holidays.
Please take a moment to sponsor a pie, for $10, at signup genius here. There are two ways to sponsor a pie- as an organization or as an individual/family.
A colorful thank you certificate, with organizations name or individual’s/family name will be attached to the sponsored pie. You will also recieve a copy of the certificate by email. Sample certificate
These are large pies, 4.5lbs, from Costco and will be delivered by us to the first responders before Thanksgiving.
